Feb 26th 2007 : Around Shiba water supply park --- Minato-ku

There is a St. Andrew’s Church at the place which is 2 -3 min walk from Azabu Interior( Our show room ).


Under the sunny sky, the cherry tree called Kanhi-zakura was bowing to me with is bright pink flower tassel. I saw this flower in Okinawa before in same timing February.
That’s maybe effect of global warming.

If you walk toward Tokyo Tower from the church and turn left at the first intersection, you can find Shiba Water Station at the end of the way.
You’ll see a great view of Atago Forest Tower ( left ) and the Mori Tower (right ) from the park which place at the top level of the station.


This Shiba Water Station was built in August 1896 and started supplying from December 1898. If you see it from the top of Tokyo Tower, this park looks located just underneath the tower. In this time that everything is expensive, how wide is their premises !! It’s a important water station supplies water to all kitchen in Tokyo area.

Feb 6th 2007 : The Hill at Azabudai 1-chome --- Minato-ku

A white plum flower started to bloom and smell around the garden of Shiroyama Tower next to embassy of sweden.
Spring has come according to Japanese calendar.

Feb 4th 2007 : Tokyo walking tour --- Minato-ku

Tokyo Marathon 2007 is going to be held on Feb 18th. The course is re-arranged this year. A lot of sightseeing spot or modern office building, housing area in old town will be arranged in this course. It will be attractive one surrounded by cultural properties.

As they “run” to the goal, we will have “fun” with our tour !
Hibiya Park to Ginza, Toyosu, Ariake and our goal, Tokyo Big Site.
For us it took 2 hours for 9km walk but we made it!!

I found big objet of tree looks like Yakusugi (famous big pld tree in Yaku island ) at Italian restaurant in Shinonome.
You should go and see !

On the way back home, we stopped at Odaiba.

It named “Mismatch”.
It’s a classic concert with Saxophone player “Kento Motegi” and Trombone player “Mami Miyazaki”. Piano is played by “Mikiko Yoshikane”.
