the Netherlans Embassytulip

All tulips are now fully bloomed taller and brighter than they were in March 14th.
In front of the Netherlands Embassy, their garden was full of red and yellow tulips.
Winds were swinging them, almost fall them down.

the slope to Shiba Academy A shot at the slope, going down to Shiba Academy from the embassy.
The flag with bright red, white, blue color can be seen behind cherry tree. They are so pretty.

the TEMARI Green Land “The Temari Green Land”, just beside the Shiba Academy
Office workers were having cherry tree party underneath the tree.
They were not having alcohol but tea in a bottle but they looked having fun.

Tokyo Tower wearing cherry blossom I tried to take a shot looks like the Tokyo Tower wearing cherry blossom.

Zoujouji temple was also having a full of cherry blossom!!
I was almost intoxicated with their beauty.

* These photos were taken at 1:00 afternoon on 29th of March.
The place was same as on 14th March, the Netherlands Embassy and Zoujouji Temple.

Mar 14th 2007: Tulips --- Minato-ku

tulip
There is Netherlands Embassy at the place 4-5min walk from us.

I went there because I knew they plant tulips in front of their entrance in this time of year.

It’s a small one with 12cm high and have stripe of red and yellow.

tulipOn the opposite side, there were also small cute tulips with red round petal.
They are also around 12cm high.

Both types have very short stalk.
It seems they’re bringing bulbs directly from Holland.
I can’t wait all other type start to bloom. It may be in April or so.

the Netherlands Embassy
The Netherlands Embassy is located at this place.

Mar 9th 2007 : Lunch time concert and Kohigan cherry tree --- Minato-ku

weekly Friday concert
I’ve been to a weekly Friday concert at Shiroyama Garden.
Performer is Primavera, a duo of Miki Watanabe (violin) and Kazuhiko Obata (guitar).

It was enjoyable light swing bossa nova song brought to me with nice spring wind.

Kohigan cherry trees Kohigan cherry flowers
A shot of Izumi Garden just near by. There were pretty Kohigan cherry trees having cute flower blooming.
Their buds have darker pink and also cute.
I felt the spring season arrival even stronger after hearing bossa nova.
It made me excited taking photo of them. If you click the right photo, you can see a bird taking his perch in the middle.

花In the front of the embassy of Sweden, I found a magnolia opening its first light pink flower.
In a week or so, we may enjoy a full of bloom!!

This is a map around Izumi Garden.
