April 18th 2007: Seasonal flowers --- Minato-ku

Now cherry blossom has gone and a season of fresh greenery has come.
Really time flies!
First one is Tokyo Tower together with fresh green.
The rest is flowers which blooming one step earlier than others in the garden of “ the Prince Park Tower Tokyo ”


These are iris, German iris, alpine roses etc… They will be even nicer later.


In front of our showroom, Japanese azalea is fully bloomed in white color.
Please take a look of them as well if you have a chance to visit us.

April 13th 2007: Lunch time concert in April --- Minato-ku

It’s Friday today. I visited a weekly lunch time concert in Shiroyama Hills.

The performer is “Qi Michelan”
Their members are Teppei Okada (Vi) Shiori Tanaka (Va) Shigeki Sekizawa (Cb) Miyuki Sato (Pf). Playlists are “Sakura Sakura” “Elephant balance on the ball” “Romeo and Juliet”

I walked through the garden having cherry blossoms falling every where and entered the hall of Shiroyama Trust Tower. There were a lot of people than usual.
Just one thing I wasn’t happy was people staying in coffee shop next to the hall were a bit noisy. I was in the rear area that couldn’t enjoy their beautiful play.
Anyway, for a lunch time, lively music is better than a sad song.

April 5th 2007: Zoujouji temple and Japanese court dance with music --- Minato-ku

Everyday on 2nd to 7th of April noon, Japanese court dance with music will be played at the main stage at Zoujouji temple by their member. This dance team has 60 years history. This is an annual event.
I could only see the last performance because I was a bit late.
Two men with a mask of blue bird was dancing gracefully.

There were so many people enjoying their play that they were even occupying stone steps of the main building of the temple.


After their show, audience gone so quickly and 2 monks walked away with their beautiful clothes.
On the same day, they were opening the tomb of Edo Shogun to public. I prayed at their memorial tower of 6 Shogun from 2nd to 14th.

*This year they have big memorial ceremony during these four days consist of several event.

• ・Gathering festival ( Local commercial products will be sold) : Apr 2-8
• ・Library open to public : Apr2-8
• ・Tomb opening to public: Apr2-8
• ・Flower Festival : Apr8

Maybe you can have fun on weekends of Apr7,8.
