For the top plate of this desk the Valvanne original special coating "Soft Pen Touch Paint" is applied.
Normally these kind of olefin resin top plates would not need any painting at all, however by adding this extra layer we get a desk top that is soft to the touch, and perfect for writing on without adding any extra underlayers.
This layer also recovers itself in case of tiny scratches, etc.
Of course the material for this paint is of non-toluene and non-xylene for safety and eco.
Please note for big scratches etc. it might not recover by itself.
